Real Time Manager is an Online Management System created to assist in managing your business and keep track of all of its operations. The software was originally tailored to the Locksmith profession, but has been expanded to include other service fields.

You cannot be everywhere at once. This is why Real Time Manager is essential to your service company. With the integration of Google maps, GPS enabled cell phones can be tracked within the system. You will be able to track your technicians and see their locations from services calls. By seeing their location, you can pinpoint which technician is nearest to an emergency service call, or who may be getting off course. You can communicate with your technicians through SMS messaging.

Filing and keeping track of paperwork is a tedious and time consuming mess. With Real Time Manager, file keeping is paperless and stored within the system. In the Real Time Manager System you can store employee records, customer records, invoices, service information, accounting information, and billing information. Adding Users and Billing Information.

Real Time Manager separates your users into four categories by default. You can also customize Real Time Manager to suit your individual needs. When you add more users you can incorporate more of your business in one comprehensive system and boost your efficiency!

User Groups:
Users:
Users can add and edit services, send emails or SMS to employees, find an estimate, view unpaid or closed reports, find services by date and backup the system.
Managers:
Managers are allowed all the same rights as users and can edit services that have been closed.
Admin:
Admins are allowed full access and are the only users allowed to view financial records.
Employee:
Employees are only allowed to view and edit their own jobs. You can have unlimited
Employees.

Setting up your Service Areas in Real Time Manager

I have been contacted by customers who could not add services to a certain zip code.

The cause of this was that, they had not added that zone to their service area.



To add any services to the Real Time Manager system, the area must be added to your company’s service zone. To do this go the “Admin” page and select the “Set/Edit Service Zone” button.

  1. Select you desired state from the drop down list.
  1. Select a Zone to view all of the cities that zone covers.
  1. If you want to be able to assign jobs to that zone, check the box next to the zone’s name and click the “Save Zones” button.
  1. Repeat this process to add all of the areas you want to provide service for.
  1. If you want to remove a zone you can easily check the check box for that zone and click the “Delete Select Zone” button.

Once you save a zone, you will be able to add services for the cities contained in that zone. Adding service areas must be done, so that you can later assign technicians to their service zones. The zones they can service will be limited to the zones you have saved on the “Set/Edit Service Zone” page.
